District Notes is Pho District's email newsletter, operated from 216 King Street, Hammersmith, London W6 0RA. Contact info@phodistrict.co.uk with questions about your information.

What we collect and why

We use your email address, signup source, consent wording and consent dates to send the news, seasonal menus and offers you request. We keep send results to investigate email problems. Short-lived hashed request identifiers help prevent misuse of the signup form.

Your choice

Signing up is optional and separate from booking a table. When you tick the consent box and press Subscribe, we add you to the list immediately and send a welcome email. You do not need to click an email link to activate your subscription. You can unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email, without signing in, or email us. Booking-related messages are unaffected.

Services and retention

Subscriber records are stored with our website on Hostinger. Email is sent through our Google Workspace mailbox. Mailchimp is not connected to this newsletter. We retain subscription and consent records while needed to provide the newsletter, and keep a minimal opt-out record to avoid contacting people who have unsubscribed. If you choose to subscribe again, we record your new consent. We do not use open or click tracking.

Your information rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information or withdraw your consent by contacting info@phodistrict.co.uk. You can also raise a concern with the UK's Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
